What Does Busy Mean?

Not much happening here. Really. Unless you want to count that we are very much in the midst of moving. Marissa wanted some of our furniture, but it didn't fit in her car with the kids. So being the great mother that I am, I volunteered to take it to her in my big truck/SUV. So Monday I drove to Austin and back all in the same day. I must be nuts.
When I got home I spent the rest of the afternoon on the phone trying to get our electricity changed to the new address. That was fun, (read NOT). The rest of the week I am finishing packing everything we are currently using in the house to be ready for the big move on Saturday.
Boy this sure is fun. We should do this more often. No I really mean that. Well, maybe I really mean that. Oh, who am I kidding, I wish that we had professionals doing this for us. Oh well it is a great chance to get rid of stuff. We really do have too much stuff.
More later after we move, with pictures of our new place.

The Maze

Usually when I am awake in the middle of the night I am able to walk all around my house without any difficulty or lights. I know where everything is and the house is kept fairly neat and clean. Well lately that had changed. Since we are moving in about a week and a half we are very busy boxing up all our things, sorting things into different catagories, what to store, what to take to the apartment, what to put in the garage of the apartment, etc.

Well with all this packing the moving of furniture now my house is more like a maze to wonder through instead of what I am used to. In fact one night I used the light from my cell phone to see where to walk so I did not run into anything. To make this even more fun, the arrangement had changed about 3 times since we started.

Here are a few pictures of what it looks like now. This first one is right inside the front door.

These next two are the family room where most of the things are stacked. My poor sewing room. I think I will probably miss this the most.

Cousins

This past weekend Marissa came for a visit. We got to see all 5 of our grandsons together for the first time. Because it is so hard to get a good picture of all 5 boys at the same time, I have to post two different ones so you can see the best of each boy.

I cropped this picture because I thought the expression on Gavin's face was priceless. He doesn't seem too sure about Nathan trying to hold him on the couch for the picture.

The three older boys had a great time playing on the boxes while the adults had a little time to visit and admire the babies.
